I won’t marry you because you don’t want me to
You say I’m sorry but you never meant it to
I always make you feel, till my words are empty
I ask what’s wrong, but you choose to flee.

I love you, that’s all I know.
You told me so, but it doesn’t show.
I want to be strong but you show me ire,
I came brave yet you stood with fire.

I hold your hand and dream of dancing
But you woke me up with words such piercing
I wanted to be with you, that’s all I’m asking
You left with “no” while my heart is breaking.
